I just got hired at old navy.. a requirement is that I convince ppl to sign up for the credit card old navy offers at least three times a day.
I know when someone offers me one, I decline and walk away annoyed.. HOW do I convince them or what would make you more likely to listen and wanna have one?
I just got a new job... how do I sell things?unemployment rate
Haha I work at Old Navy and the rule is you have to tell them three benefits of the card (ex. discount, can be used at Gap, and Banana Republic, card holder only benefits) basically just keep telling them benefits. However, 9 times out of 10 they say no anyway...not that I can blame them.
I just got a new job... how do I sell things? loan
You have to convey the thought of
%26quot;I have something you want%26quot;
Use your tone make them think for a Bit
%26quot;Look at this special offer I have%26quot;
%26quot;You could save a pretty penny by signing up%26quot;
%26quot;Only takes Minute%26quot;
Use a smile...as fake as you can without being annoying
and also Compliment compliment complimet!!
%26quot;Oh I love that color%26quot;
%26quot;Thats My favorite design%26quot;
%26quot;Love your taste I have both in green ad Beige%26quot;
Then go in for the kill....%26quot;By the way You could save a pretty penny by signing up today...(have the information in your hand)....%26quot;it only takes a minute%26quot;.....All while speaking in the tone Of %26quot;Hey Why Not?!|||Why doesn%26#039;t your employer provide training in this area? What happens if no one signs up with you? Do you get fired?|||let them know how many dollars their 10% off their first purchase is. if their purchase is 50.00 dollars, then they%26#039;ll save 5.00 dollars by opening a card.
tell them about all the special promotions and coupons that old navy only gives out to card members
if they decline, simply smile and move on to the next customer.|||Smile, and don%26#039;t just fake the smile. In order to sell anything you have to believe and enjoy what you%26#039;re doing. Don%26#039;t make your pitch where it sounds like you are being forced to say something you don%26#039;t believe in. The customer can see fake, so be as real as you can be.
===========
example: Hello, may I help you find something?
Did you know that we have a great sale today on sweatshirts? May I show you? We also have a great credit card plan that can help you with your purchase today, and many more shopping trips to come...
========
You want to sell yourself as much as you want to sell the item. If the customer likes you then when they come back in to shop they will ask for the great sales person that helped them their last visit.|||Think of each person as having a button on their forehead which says %26quot;What%26#039;s In It For Me?%26quot; If you can think of a way to push that button, you will make the sale.
The advice about the smile is good. Also, think about what scares you away from getting one yourself. Why are you annoyed? What could a person say to you to make it less scary?
You can always just say %26quot;Old Navy likes us to INVITE EVERYONE to have an Old Navy charge card. You wanna sign up? I%26#039;ll help!%26quot;
Old Navy probably offers an incentive, like %26quot;You will get 15% off on your purchase if you sign up now%26quot;
If you ask everyone who pays with a charge card, the fact that they already have credit will make them more likely to qualify. Have Fun with it, and Good Luck!
